Eucharistic Adoration

Jesus gives Himself to us completely in the Eucharist and lovingly invites us to spend time with Him. Through Eucharistic Adoration, we respond to that invitation by offering Him the gift of our presence.

Nativity of Our Lord has 50 hours of open Eucharistic Adoration each week when all are invited to come and Adore. Whether for a few minutes or a full hour, everyone is welcome during these 50 hours of Eucharistic Adoration. 

In addition to the open hours, thanks to the faithful commitment of our parishioners, Jesus is accompanied in Eucharistic Adoration more than 100 hours each week at Nativity of Our Lord. These additional 50+ hours are when the Adoration Chapel is secured (after normal business hours) and is only accessible by Committed Adorers.

Middle school youth group led by Fr. Accu

Venturers is our middle school youth group, led by Fr. Accu and affiliated with Communion and Liberation. All 6th through 8th graders are invited to join us weekly throughout the school year to play games, sing songs, and share our lives together. Venturers offers middle school students a beautiful opportunity to take their faith seriously and learn to recognize God’s presence in every moment of their lives.

Giving Tree (Christmas)

Coordination of donated Christmas gifts for families in need

Established in 1990, the Giving Tree project is a service that allows parishioners to purchase food boxes and Christmas gifts for children, families, and the elderly who may not otherwise receive a gift. Volunteers coordinate donated gifts.

Springs of Love Chapter at Nativity

Supporting Foster Care and Adoptive Families

Springs of Love is a national Catholic organization that promotes and supports Foster Care and Adoptive Families and families discerning a call to foster and/or adopt.  The need for foster care and adoptive families is huge and the success of those families is much improved when they have a community to support them.  The Springs of Love Chapter here at Nativity of Our Lord is hoping to become a blanket of love and support around existing foster and adoptive families in our community.  If you are interested in praying for families, providing for material needs (i.e. clothes, diapers, furniture), a warm meal, or respite care for a couple to have a date night, this is the group for you.

Altar Serving

Assisting the priests with liturgical celebrations

Altar serving is a sacred privilege that allows children and youth to assist at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass while growing in faith, reverence, and love of the Lord. Boys and girls who have received their First Holy Communion and Confirmation are invited to serve. All new altar servers are required to complete a training program before serving at Mass or other liturgies.
