There are many activities throughout the year for middle school students to participate in. Listed here are a few of our core opportunities.

Venturers is our middle school youth group, led by Fr. Accu and affiliated with Communion and Liberation.  All sixth through eighth graders are invited to join us weekly throughout the school year to play games, sing songs, and share our lives together.  Venturers offers middle school students a beautiful opportunity to take their faith seriously and learn to recognize God’s presence in every moment of their lives.

Venturers of the Star also holds an exciting event each summer: Middle School Vacation.  During Vacation, students spend a week together in the mountains, praying, learning, playing, and living in communion with one another.

Meetings: Tuesdays during the school year, 6:30-8:00pm, at the Frassati House (580 W. 3rd Ave. Dr.)

Program Fee: $20

Middle schoolers at Nativity have the opportunity to participate in our Religious Education (R.E.) classes during the school year. These weekly classes are offered on Tuesday and Wednesday nights and give students an engaging experience that encourages them to go deeper in their knowledge of and love for their Catholic faith.

Totus Tuus (Latin for ‘Totally Yours’) is a summer program for children and teens going into grades 1-12.  Two teaching teams of four college-aged students and seminarians lead the week-long event, immersing participants in the beauty of their Catholic faith through fun, engaging, and meaningful ways.

Kids going into grades 1-6 enjoy the day program, which is from Monday through Friday from 9:30am-2:00pm, while teens in grades 7-12 attend the night program, Sunday through Thursday from 7:00-9:00pm.

Totus Tuus is one of our most popular programs, so be sure to sign up early. Registration typically opens in January.  Click here to learn more and to register:

Middle schoolers at Nativity are invited to serve the Lord and His Church by becoming altar servers. Those who are trained can serve as often as they would like, and they are given increased responsibilities as their knowledge and experience expands.
