Confidential support for emotional and spiritual struggles
Our congregation’s Stephen Ministry equips lay people to provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to people in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. Stephen Ministry provides emotional and spiritual care when faced with a crisis or difficulty such as: loss of a loved one, hospitalization, divorce or separation, loneliness or discouragement, spiritual crisis, unemployment or job crisis, a terminal illness, incarceration, aging, changing family dynamics (birth, adoption, miscarriage, infertility), a chronic illness, relocation, recovery after accident or disaster, or other life challenges. Stephen Ministers meet weekly with their care receivers for around an hour to listen, care, encourage, pray, and provide emotional and spiritual support for the person. Caring relationships last for as long as the person’s need persists. If you are in need of emotional or spiritual support, please contact our confidential helpline below.
