It is with great sadness that we share that our dear Deacon David Joseph Arling, serving at Nativity of Our Lord, passed into his new birth at the age of 77 on January 1, 2024, the feast day of Mary, the Mother of God. Deacon David had been a member of Nativity Parish since moving to Broomfield in 2007. He served in many volunteer ministries, and in 2017 was ordained a Deacon and assigned to his home parish. As a Deacon, he not only served in Masses, baptisms, and funerals, but also prison ministry, ministry to assisted living facilities, healing from divorce ministry, study, and prayer groups. We ask all parishioners for your continued prayers for the repose of the soul of Deacon David and the consolation of his family.
