Thank you for your interest in volunteering here at Nativity!

There are many different ways in which parishioners can volunteer for the parish. From teaching Religious Education, to helping at the school, to supporting events like Nativity Days, the possibilities are endless.

Before beginning volunteer activities, all parish and school volunteers must complete the following process:

STEP 1:

Download and complete the Volunteer Authorization Form digitally, then print.

 

STEP 2:

Read the Archdiocese of Denver Code of Conduct:

STEP 3:

Print the Code of Conduct Acknowledgement Form. Complete all blank spaces, sign, and date.

STEP 4:

Print the Volunteer Worker Hold Harmless Form. Complete all blank spaces, sign, and date.

 

STEP 5:

Register for and attend one of the SET sessions at Nativity (listed at the bottom of these steps) OR at another location in the Archdiocese of Denver. For other locations, see this schedule.

 

STEP 6:

Return the following items to the attention of Candy Gritz in the parish business office.

 
  • Volunteer Authorization Form

  • Code of Conduct Acknowledgement Form

  • Volunteer Worker Hold Harmless Form

  • Praesidium Certificate of Completion of Safe Environment Training

 

STEP 7:

Apply for a background check.  After we have received all of the items listed above, you will receive an automated email that will provide a link enabling you to enter your personal information into an online screening form for the purpose of obtaining a background check.  Your personal information will be secure.  The email address of the sender will be noreply@selection.com and the subject line will say ‘Fastrax.’ Please complete the online screening form as soon as you receive the email.
