My name is Kyle Hubbart, and I am a certified public accountant who began his career in tax compliance and planning for an international CPA firm. After leaving public accounting I spent almost three decades as the Chief Financial Officer for companies in the hospitality, telecommunications, and emerging technologies industries. I also have a degree in Criminal Justice and spent a brief part of my career in law enforcement for the State of Colorado.
After attending and graduating from the Biblical School and Catechetical School, a six-year program offered by St. John Vianney Seminary – Lay Division, I decided to leave the corporate world and finish my career serving the Catholic Church. I joined Nativity of Our Lord in 2010, as the Business Manager. I am responsible for the financial, human resource, facility, and general business operations of both the church and school.
My wife and I met while we were in high school and have been married for 41 years. We have three children and five grandchildren and have been parishioners at Nativity since 1981.
For the last five decades I have been an avid runner. For me it creates the perfect balance for my professional and personal life. I still race competitively in both local races and on the United States Track and Field racing circuit for master runners. I have often been asked to write a sentence or two about myself, and I always like to reference 1 Corinthians 9: 24-25, “Do you not know that the runners in the stadium all run in the race, but only one wins the prize? Run so as to win. Every athlete exercises discipline in every way. They do it to win a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one.”
