My name is Fr. Michael Carvill, and I have been the pastor of Nativity since 2009. I am a member of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Charles Borromeo, a Society of Apostolic Life with roots in the Communion and Liberation movement.
I have a licentiate in theology from the John Paul II Institute for studies of Marriage and Family in Washington DC. Since my ordination in 1990 I have served in parishes in California, Florida, and Massachusetts. I love the outdoors for hiking, snowshoeing, and general enjoyment of the beauty around me. I have become an avid runner and have raced in the Bolder Boulder and Broomfield Days 5K races. In our parish, in addition to my many duties as pastor, I am active with our youth, accompanying them on their journey to adulthood in communion with Jesus Christ. When I am away from Nativity, I give retreats and conferences around the nation and am an animator in the Communion and Liberation movement.
