My name is Diane Denfeld, and I am currently the Stewardship Director for Nativity Parish. This is a new role for me and in the parish, through which we will direct our Season of Stewardship Renewal each year and process and follow up on all the wonderful things our parishioners do for our parish community. This fall I will have been working for the parish five years. During that time my role has changed, but it has always been a wonderful opportunity for me and my family.
Before starting at Nativity, I was a stay-at-home mom. My wonderful husband, Joe, and I are blessed with four children. Our oldest just graduated from high school and our youngest is going into third grade. We have many more years joyfully watching and guiding our children to adulthood. Being a wife and mom is everything I had hoped it would be and I am thankful that God has entrusted me with this great responsibility.
My favorite things to do are anything with my family. We enjoy camping, four wheeling, a bit of travel, and simply being together through our everyday activities. Very recently we were able to go to the Holy Land together. It was a wonderful experience for all of us, and for me it was extra special because I was able to be there with my husband and kids. Experiencing the joy of being where Jesus walked and seeing how that affected my children was amazing.
